The NYS School-Age Care (SAC) Credential is a nationally recognized professional development pathway for youth development and afterschool professionals. This cohort combines asynchronous distance learning, virtual instruction, applied assignments, and individualized support to help participants build competencies aligned with high-quality school-age programs. Participants will explore child and youth development, program planning, family engagement, professionalism, and leadership practices. Successful completion prepares participants to pursue the NYS SAC Credential endorsement process and advance their careers in the expanded learning field.
