DESCRIPTION:The NYS School-Age Care (SAC) Credential is a nationally recognized professional development pathway for youth development and afterschool professionals. This cohort combines asynchronous distance learning\, virtual instruction\, applied assignments\, and individualized support to help participants build competencies aligned with high-quality school-age programs. Participants will explore child and youth development\, program planning\, family engagement\, professionalism\, and leadership practices. Successful completion prepares participants to pursue the NYS SAC Credential endorsement process and advance their careers in the expanded learning field.

SUMMARY:Executive Leadership Series for Small Agencies
DESCRIPTION:The Partnership for After School Education (PASE) is a child-focused organization that promotes and supports quality afterschool programs\, particularly those serving young people from underserved communities. We have a strong commitment to support small agencies\, which are often able to respond to the emerging needs of New York City’s most vulnerable young people and play an instrumental role in the growth of the afterschool field. We believe that small youth-serving organizations have the same needs as larger organizations but require these services to be provided in ways that can be utilized by small\, often overworked staff who fill multiple roles throughout the course of a single day. \nPASE’s Executive Leadership Series for Small Agencies is designed to meet some of these needs. The series consists of roundtable discussions led by Alison Overseth\, CEO\, Partnership for After School Education\, and Shawn Dove\, Managing Partner\, New Profit. This cohort allows organizational leaders to gather and plan for their agency’s future\, share resources\, and create and build partnerships with organizations facing similar challenges. Eligible agencies must have organizational and/or youth budgets of $500\,000 or less.
